Anna-Louise Bouvier
Co-Founder
Anna-Louise Bouvier is the Founder of Physiocise, an Adjunct Fellow at the Macquarie University School of Medicine and a nationally recognised leader in practical wellbeing, behaviour change and healthy ageing. Her career spans physiotherapy, health tech, media, corporate consulting, and governance — a rare combination that positions her as one of Australia’s most credible and engaging voices in health.
In 1995, she founded Physiocise, a groundbreaking exercise and education program for back and joint pain. It has now taught over 150,000 classes.
Dr Chris Watt
Co-Founder
Dr Chris Watt is a respected leader in retirement living innovation, committed to enhancing resident experiences across Australia. With extensive experience in the aged care sector, Chris brings a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities in creating thriving retirement communities.
He also had a distinguished 30-year career as a dentist prior to moving into developing best-in-class retirement living.
Caroline Kinny-Lewis
Co-Founder and Head of Product
Caroline Kinny-Lewis is an award-winning Product Manager who has worked across Government, private and start-up sectors. She leads product development at Best I Can Be, ensuring our digital solutions are intuitive, engaging, and effective. Her focus on user experience and innovation drives the creation of programs that truly resonate with older adults and retirement communities.
Professor Catherine Dean
Academic Partner
Professor Catherine Dean is the Deputy Dean of Education and Employability of the Faculty of Medicine, Health and Human Sciences at Macquarie University. She was also the Professor and Head of the Department of Health Professions, and she led the establishment of the Doctor of Physiotherapy and Doctor of Medicine courses. She has been awarded over $7 million in research and education grants. Not only is she an award-winning educator, but her deep passion for research into ageing, stroke, Parkinson’s, back pain and hearing impairment, particularly in ageing populations, brings deep academic rigour to Best I Can Be.
